About:
Gwen Helton has a master’s degree from Wright State University in Community Counseling. She
is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency
Counselor (LCDC III) in the State of Ohio. She has been in the helping profession for over thirty
years and licensed for over 20 years. She has worked in private practice, public mental health,
the prison system and higher education.
Gwen is passionate about empowering clients to live authentically. She uses a collaborative
approach to support and facilitate healing of the body, mind and spirit. Gwen has worked with
clients experiencing a variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, childhood abuse,
divorce and many other major life transitions. Gwen works with a variety of age groups
including 18-80.
