Mary's foundations in movement began in traditional and modern yoga perspectives. Over many years, her movement modalities have become infused through her extensive studies in related fields, including somatic awareness, human development, mindfulness, trauma, poly-vagal theory, and her personal experience.

 

Having earned certifications and training in multidisciplinary approaches to whole-body understanding, she has studied trauma-informed yoga, prenatal yoga, EmbodiYoga®, Coreawareness®, Yin yoga, therapeutic applications in yoga, and more. From this extensive array of methods, practices with Mary often take a co-creative journey into body-mind territories that bring curiosity and deeper understanding.
